Who are the course instructors?
DOME4Kidz is led by three faculty members whose disciplines form a complete clinical circle: the pediatric dentist who identifies the child, the surgeon who understands the anatomy and the ceiling of intervention, and the orthodontist who holds the tools to reshape the airway during the growth window.
Dr. Irene Lau
A Hong Kong-based pediatric dentist, co-founder of T.O.P. Dental, founder of HelloSmile HK (an NGO dedicated to underserved children's oral health), and Vice-President of the Hong Kong Association of Dental Sleep Medicine. She is the clinical heartbeat of the course, the practitioner who sees these children every day and has built the infrastructure where participants will learn hands-on.
Dr. Stanley Liu
A dual-trained MD/DDS oral and maxillofacial sleep surgeon, Associate Professor at Nova Southeastern University, Director of the NSU Breathe & Sleep Wellness Center, and former Stanford Sleep Surgery Fellowship Director. He is the co-architect of the DOME methodology and connects airway science, surgical intervention, and the global evidence base through leadership roles including Founding Secretary of the World Dentofacial Sleep Society and Deputy President of the Global Initiative for Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Steffen Decker
A UK-based specialist orthodontist, Global Advisor to Align Technology and 3M, and Clinical Advisor for Airway and Orthodontics at the John Kois Center. His command of clear aligner-supported expansion and airway-integrated orthodontics bridges the gap between craniofacial development theory and the practical tools participants will use in their practices.
